What is the difference with the kits, besides blower size? Does every kit besides the Integra non vtec and the CRV utilize the M62 blower(excluding miata and focus)?

Can the B18C1, C5, and B16 kit be modified to fit the B18B? Or, is the ITR kit the only one that can be used(I'm thinking b16 kit will be usable!!)?

Thanx and sorry about all the questions. I just don't want to go with the M45, and find out later how limited I am.

Larry told me to get the B16A or B18C5 kits. The GSR manifold is different, and is harder to modify. I am gonna do this mod eventually. He said there was some grinding and filling, which is fine since I just got a MIG welder... but I wish he would explain the process. I think I will figure it out anyway. He said about a month ago in an email that he was gonna post a new article, but then he got pissed off at the board.

As far as I can remember, LS Avenger saw no gains with the M62 (but I think he was at 6psi).. I have the 45 at 9psi and all is well... the 45 is cheaper, and to make it any faster than it is, injectors and Endyn are in order...

    my $.02

That's how I remember it too. LSavenger was the good enough to be the test case. I recall he saw a minor gain over the LS kit, but nothing to justify the expense of modifying the kit.

There isn't that much of a difference between the two. Not enough to modify the M62 to fit the LS. My brother has the GSR, I 2 was going to go the M62 route, but after seeing the cost of making it fit, and talking to some people I went w/ M45 @8psi. NO Issues here.

I am planning on doing this modification. It doesn't look too hard to do with a clamp and drill press.

From the pics it look like mark and drill. Whats the deal with the oil seperater clearance? I am still curious to know if I can buy the GSR kit or the SI biggrinEL SOL kits and have them modified to fit. From my understanding the manifold for the B16 and B18C5 are Identical(as far as connecting to the head!!). If the ITR manifold can be modified why not the B16!! What About other parts supplied with the kit. I think the pulleys will need to be changed to acheive 6psi. What about mounting brackets. Does anything else have to be modified(relocated) for clearance. Sorry for the long post. I guess what I am getting at is: Am I limited only to the ITR and non vtec B18B kits? And, can the GSR kit be modified(from what I've read I doubt it).

I'm still curious about the SI kit

    Thanks

    Sean
